The Mobile Journey Capture Service (MJCS) is an orchestration layer for low code IEOS journeys. If you are not currently using IEOS journeys and do not wish to use IEOS journeys, then this entire section can be safely ignored. See the quick setup section for info on how to use the MJCS SDK.

Legacy Context

This is the same mjcs SDK that up through version 14.2.2 was distributed as part of com.idscan.ieos:mjcs. To facilitate easier and quicker maintenance of the SDK and its documentation, it is now being distributed as part of the SmartCapture release process. This means that whenever a new SmartCapture release occurs, it will be accompanied by an MJCS release with the same version number that uptakes and uses that updated SmartCapture SDK. For example: the 1.2.3 SmartCapture release will now also include a com.gbg.smartcapture:mjcs:1.2.3 release that is already internally configured to use the 1.2.3 SmartCapture release. To avoid version clashes with 6+ year old versions of MJCS, the package has been changed from com.idscan.ieos:mjcs to com.gbg.smartcapture:mjcs.
