The document camera when used via composition restarts when the phone is rotated

This is happening due to the hosting activity restarting on rotation. Our compose is set up to correctly handle an orientation change via config change. This means that if the remainder of your activity correctly handles orientation change without restarting you can safely enable android:configChanges="orientation|screenSize|screenLayout|smallestScreenSize|keyboardHidden" for your activity, which will prevent it from restarting on orientation change.
